product description

HPKK400 High-Pressure Peristaltic Pump

The HPKK400 is a high-pressure peristaltic pump designed for controlled liquid transfer in medical instruments and other OEM equipment. Its four-roller pump head, quick tubing replacement and multiple motor configurations support different requirements for flow, pressure and control.

Because the liquid contacts only the tubing, the pump provides an isolated fluid path and simplifies fluid-contact material selection.

Key Features

  • Flow range of 0.2–500 mL/min

  • Stepper, encoder stepper, closed-loop stepper and brushless DC motor options

  • High-pressure configurations for different tubing sizes

  • Four-roller pump head for controlled liquid delivery

  • Quick tubing replacement

  • Tygon E-3603 tubing with 1.6 mm wall thickness

  • Two tubing sizes: 1.6 × 4.8 mm and 3.2 × 6.4 mm

  • PWM or 0–7.5 V speed control available with the brushless motor

  • 24 V DC operation

  • Aluminum-alloy structure with stainless-steel rollers

Typical Applications

  • Surgical ablation equipment

  • Cooling systems for cardiac electrophysiology procedures

  • Medical-instrument liquid circulation

  • High-pressure liquid transfer

  • OEM cooling and fluid-management systems

Motor life 6,000 h 6,000 h
Reference noise <55 dB at 50 cm under 35 dB ambient noise <55 dB at 50 cm under 35 dB ambient noise

Tubing and Reference Flow

Tubing Size, ID × OD Stepper Motor Brushless DC Motor
1.6 × 4.8 mm, 14# Up to 110 mL/min Up to 140 mL/min
3.2 × 6.4 mm, 16# 260 mL/min at 300 rpm Up to 500 mL/min

Pressure Configurations

Pressure performance depends on tubing size, motor configuration and operating speed. The manual provides reference pressure curves at 200 rpm for:

  • 1.6 mm ID Tygon E-3603 tubing: 6 bar configuration

  • 3.2 mm ID Tygon E-3603 tubing: 2 bar configuration

Actual flow decreases as outlet pressure rises. The required flow and pressure combination should be verified under the intended operating conditions.

Product Materials

Component Material
Cassette and synchronous pulley Aluminum alloy
Mounting plate Aluminum alloy
Rollers Stainless steel
Wear plate POM
Front cover PMMA

Tubing Options

Standard Tygon E-3603 tubing is available in 14# and 16# sizes. Perx MED55 tubing in the same sizes is also listed as an available option.

Tubing standards and compliance apply to the tubing material rather than the complete pump or end equipment. Chemical compatibility, tubing life and regulatory suitability should be confirmed for the intended liquid and application.

Brushless Motor Control

The brushless motor configuration supports:

  • PWM speed control at 10–30 kHz with a 7.5 V amplitude

  • 0–12% PWM duty cycle for stop

  • 13–100% PWM duty cycle for speed adjustment

  • 0–0.9 V analog input for stop

  • 1–7.5 V analog input for speed adjustment

  • FG speed feedback

  • Forward and reverse rotation control

Reference flow data were measured using pure water at 20°C, standard atmospheric pressure and zero back pressure unless otherwise stated. Actual performance may vary with the liquid, tubing condition, outlet pressure, motor speed and duty cycle. Real-liquid testing is recommended before final OEM integration.
