product description

KCSmini Micro Peristaltic Pump

Compact Stepper-Driven Pump for Precision Fluid Transfer

The Kamoer KCSmini is a compact micro peristaltic pump driven by a 42 mm stepper motor. Designed for precision liquid dispensing and stable fluid transfer, it offers a reference flow range of 0.01–155 mL/min through different tubing and rotor configurations.

The fluid contacts only the tubing, simplifying fluid-path maintenance and reducing the risk of cross-contamination. With panel mounting, a quick-release tubing mechanism, and multiple control options, the KCSmini is suitable for integration into analytical instruments, medical diagnostic equipment, laboratory systems, printing equipment, environmental instruments, and other OEM devices.

Key Features

Stepper Motor Control

The stepper motor supports precise speed and direction control, helping equipment manufacturers achieve controlled liquid dispensing across a wide flow range.

Wide Flow Range

By combining different tubing sizes, motor speeds, and rotor configurations, the KCSmini provides a reference flow range of 0.01–155 mL/min.

Available tubing sizes include:

  • 14#: 1.6 × 4.8 mm

  • 19#: 2.4 × 5.6 mm

  • 16#: 3.2 × 6.4 mm

Actual flow depends on the tubing material and dimensions, motor speed, liquid properties, outlet pressure, and operating conditions.

Three-Roller and Six-Roller Options

The KCSmini is available with either three or six rollers:

  • Three-roller configuration: higher maximum flow

  • Six-roller configuration: reduced flow pulsation for applications requiring smoother fluid delivery

The appropriate configuration should be selected according to the required flow rate and pulsation level.

Quick-Release Tubing Design

The quick-release pump head allows the tubing to be installed or replaced without complex disassembly. This simplifies routine maintenance and is particularly useful in equipment where the fluid path requires regular replacement.

Multiple Tubing Options

The pump supports imported PharMed® BPT tubing and silicone tubing in three standard sizes.

Because the liquid remains inside the tubing, fluid compatibility can be adjusted by selecting an appropriate tubing material. Chemical compatibility and tubing service life should be verified using the actual liquid and operating conditions.

Compact Panel-Mount Design

The KCSmini uses a compact panel-mount structure with an approximate weight of 560 g, making it suitable for space-limited OEM equipment.

Flexible Connection Options

Available connection options include:

  • Barbed connectors

  • Tubing-to-rigid-tube connectors with 1/4-28 UNF threads

  • Straight connectors

  • Inverted-cone connectors

  • Anti-floating suction fittings

These options simplify integration with different tubing and equipment fluid paths.

Flexible Control Solutions

The pump can be paired with optional stepper motor drivers that support:

  • Internal or external potentiometer speed adjustment

  • MODBUS RS485 communication

  • 0–10 V analog speed control

  • Electric or trigger-based start/stop control

  • Clockwise and counterclockwise operation

Additional driver-board options support rotary encoder control, foot-switch control, external analog signals, and RS485 communication.

Typical Applications

  • Medical diagnostic equipment

  • Analytical instruments

  • Biochemical analyzers

  • Laboratory research equipment

  • Environmental monitoring instruments

  • Inkjet printing systems

  • Washing and disinfection equipment

  • Food and beverage equipment

  • Industrial machinery

  • Household appliances

Reference Flow Rates

Reference values at 450 rpm, 24 V, and 1.2 A:

Rotor Configuration 14# Tubing 19# Tubing 16# Tubing
Three rollers 38.5 mL/min 80 mL/min 155 mL/min
Six rollers 33 mL/min 60.5 mL/min 84 mL/min

Actual performance should be verified using the intended liquid, tubing, pressure, speed, and duty cycle.

Selection and Operating Notes

Tubing selection should consider liquid compatibility, temperature, pressure, duty cycle, and expected service life. Immersion or chemical compatibility testing is recommended before final selection.

The recommended operating environment should not exceed 45°C or 70% relative humidity, non-condensing. Excessive loading or unsuitable operating conditions may shorten product life.

When the pump remains unused for an extended period with the tubing compressed inside the pump head, the tubing may temporarily adhere internally and prevent priming. Removing and gently rolling the tubing by hand can help restore its elasticity.
